Empowering vulnerable populations through comprehensive services in health, education, social care, and old age care, providing access to quality medication and fostering a culture of compassion, dignity, and well-being."

GOALS

Provide access to quality healthcare, including medical check-ups, diagnostic services, and medication, focusing on preventive care and early intervention.

OLD AGE CARE

Provide specialized care and support services for the elderly, including medical care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.

Our Chair

His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V is the 50th hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, and the Chair of the Aga Khan Development Network. Read more

His Late Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV was the founder of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) and the 49th hereditary Imam (Spiritual Leader) of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims. Read more

Our Organisation

The Rangeena Foundation Development Network  works in over 30 countries around the world. We currently operate over 1,000 programmes and institutions − many of which date back over 60 years, and some over 100. See the awards our work has won.

We employ approximately 96,000 people, the majority of whom are based in developing countries. Our annual budget for non-profit development activities is approximately $1 billion. Our economic development arm, the Rangeena Foundation  Fund for Economic Development, reinvests all surpluses generated by its project companies into further development activities, usually in fragile, remote or post-conflict regions.
