Our Projects

Quality of life depends on more than income. A family might need immediate shelter or medical attention, but education, loans, physical access to markets, employment and a comfortable living environment all contribute to lasting well-being.

Accordingly, RF takes a holistic approach to achieving sustainable improvements. We seek to meet immediate needs such as food provision and disaster rescue, while taking a long-term approach to development through projects such as building universities and green infrastructure. We address physical requirements, from bridges to latrines, as well as less tangible aspects to quality of life, such as funding research, establishing savings societies or supporting musical performances.

Initiatives cannot be contemplated exclusively in terms of economics, but rather as an integrated programme that encompasses social and cultural dimensions as well. Education and skills training, health and public services, conservation of cultural heritage, infrastructure development, urban planning and rehabilitation, rural development, water and energy management, environmental control, and even policy and legislative development are among the various aspects that must be taken into account.
